Challenge 

• In completion of one of the largest acquisitions in Canada, for a global investment firm, led a significant post-acquisition integration program, overseeing the transition of the entire Capital Markets portfolio across retail banking, wealth management and asset management divisions while managing cross-functional impacts across business lines, vendor management, and migration of resources.

Solution

• Program Management Office was erected with a 30 person team to manage impact across all Capital Markets functions including project managers, business analysts and testers.

• Managed complete program oversight, addressing issues and dependencies across multiple lines of business as Capital Markets settles for Personal & Commercial Banking, Wealth, the brokerage division and International Settlements.

• Collaborated with the executive team for overall program status and deliverables on the migration of technology across systems, operations, trades and clients services, including: Requirements, Test Strategy, Scenarios, and Runbooks development leading to go-live.

Impact

• Executed comprehensive Test Cycles and Dress Rehearsals in rigorous preparation of stress-testing and real-world scenarios.

• Successfully migrated the Capital Markets portfolio, clients, transactions and resources, ensuring uninterrupted continuity of essential financial activities.
