Challenge

• Our client needed to build a support team alongside a Sr Test Lead to handle testing efforts across multiple trading systems as well as back-office trade operations. This involved managing testing for three streams (BO Settlements & Clearing Options, Middle Office Operations, Trade Reconciliations) to ensure the effective execution of test plans, scenarios and cycles to meet the T+1 deadline

Solution

• Collaborated closely with Operations, Test Leads to understand test plans, scenarios and cycles to align testing efforts with project objectives

• Executed on test strategy, test cases, documented test results and post-project reporting, following testing methodologies such as automation, black box, end-to-end, functional, integration, etc.

• Incorporated automation testing where possible to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness

Impact 

• Met the T+1 deadline by effectively managing testing schedules, work efforts, ensuring timely execution of test plans and scenarios.

• Ensured high-quality testing deliverables, including comprehensive test documentation and reports, leading to improved software quality and reduced defects.
